St.Catharines, Ontario - October 6, 2005 Eddie Shelby has been an integral member of every roster he’s filled. The 6’3” guard started his College career at Feather River in California, where his impressive 22.7 ppg average earned him the honour of All-State. His tremendous freshman season also earned him a spot on Dixie State’s starting line-up, a powerhouse team that he led to a 3rd place finish in the NJCAA.

After taking a couple years off from College ball, Shelby returned to played two seasons with Division II, Cal State Bakersfield. Shelby proved he still had talent despite his absence, by winning WCCAA player of the week while helping his team to a 17-10 season. Shelby’s mindset of, “I am going to do whatever it takes to try and give 110 percent in every game and every practice” will make him a good fit in Coach Otis Hailey’s program.
