Sebastian Dahm Named OHL Player of the Week

St. Catharines, Ontario - The Ontario Hockey League today
announced that Niagara IceDogs' goaltender Sebastian Dahm is
the Boston Pizza OHL Player of the Week after posting a 3-0
record with a pair of shutouts in the first three games of
their opening round OHL playoff series against the
Mississauga St. Michael's Majors last week. He finished the
week with a 0.33 goals against average and .989 save
percentage and was the first star in two games and the third
star in the other.
Dahm started the playoffs with 29 saves in a 4-0 win in
Game 1 of the series on Thursday. He made 32 saves in a 3-1
win in Game 2 on Friday and turned aside all 33 shots he
faced in a 5-0 win in Game 3 on Sunday.
The 21-year-old from Copenhagen, Denmark was 28-25-1-2
with a 3.09 goals against average and .915 save percentage
in 57 regular season games this year. It was the second time
this season that he won the award.
Dahm and the rest of the IceDogs will be looking for the
sweep when they resume their series versus the Majors in
Mississauga Tuesday night. Puck drop is set for 7:00pm and
IceDogs fans are encouraged to make the trip down the QEW
and cheer on the boys as they try to move into the second
round of the OHL playoffs.
