Ice dogs push around the 67’s 6-2; trail 2-1 in the series

Niagara pulled out another convincing win on home ice with a smothering 6-2 win over the visiting Ottawa 67’s.  The win puts the series at 2 games to 1 in favor of Ottawa.  Next game is Wednesday night in St. Catharines.

The noisy crowd was encouraged all night by the percussion section from Laura Second SS band – they were loud and proud.  There was plenty to cheer about – 2 goal performances by Maletta and Jenkins, H0-Sang ripping around the ice and back checking in the defensive zone, Dunn moving the puck around reliably, Hope stopping 23 of 25 shots sent his way, and so on.
